Co-op Program Options

The School of Engineering and Applied Sciences Co-op Program offers you the option of hiring a student on a technical assignment for one or more semesters.

Summer Employment

A popular choice of employers is hiring a student for one summer.* The student can be extended to multiple work periods (see next section).

Multiple Work Periods

The Co-op Program also offers rotations of advanced engineering and applied students between school and work assignments. Semester-long work assignments can be from multiple semesters* that take place during the Spring, Summer and /or Fall.

In a sample rotation, a student begins work in the summer after his/her junior year and continues through the fall before returning to his/her studies in the spring. He/she then returns to you the following summer, giving you a total of ten months of quality, skilled labor.

Alternative options can be designed to accommodate your needs.

*Semesters:
Summer - mid-May through early August
Fall - Late August through mid-December or mid-January
Spring - Late January through mid-May.
